Job purpose
Responsible for reconciliation and collection of current and over due debt of the company in line with agreed targets.
He/she will report to Business Manager and maintain close working relationships with other officers of the division and the department.

Main Responsibilities
• Ensure collection of assigned cu

rrent and overdue outstanding monies within 30 days.
• Lease with Finance in reconciliation of clients` accounts.
• Ensure Statements and routine demand letters for overdue accounts are dispatched to the clients promptly.
• Prepare regular Collection reports.
• Maintain close liaison and effective contact with advertising clients on overdue debt.
• Recommend debt for write off and advise on credit worthiness of clients.
• Ensure client satisfaction by providing timely and proper documentation for outstanding debt to clients.
Key Selection Criteria
• Knowledge of debt collection and credit management practices.
• Analysis and problem solving to resolve reconcilable items.
• Accuracy and attention to detail with strong reporting and debt management skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Versatility to pick up new tasks as required.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Academic: University Degree/Business related Diploma in Finance or banking.
Experience: At least 2-3 years` experience in professional debt collection is an added advantage.
