Democracy International ,Senior Learning Advisor Jobs in Tanzania



Democracy International (DI) is seeking a qualified Senior Learning Advisor for the Tanzania Mission Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Program (MELP). The MELP Program is a multiyear program designed to provide monitoring and evaluation and other relevant technical/advisory services to support USAID/Tanzania.
Responsibilities
  • Facilitate strong collaboration, learning and adapting practices in Mission business processes and through the program cycle;
  • Work to foster strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, serve as a convener for dialogue and learning around emerging issues, help identify and respond to key learning issues, and help coordinate efforts amongst implementers working in common development objectives;
  • Support the development and implementation of a learning plan that outlines key learning questions, stakeholders and their roles, and broad stakeholder engagement at multiple levels.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in international development, economics, statistics, research methods, political science, public policy, social science, or a related field;
  • 7 years demonstrated experience in M&E, data analysis, and assessments, including evaluation methodologies, population based surveys, performance management plan development, participatory data collection methods and protocols, and data quality verification techniques for large development projects;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required, and Kiswahili language skills are also desired;
  • Regional East Africa experience preferred with recent Tanzania work experience ideal.
This position will be based in Tanzania, ability to travel required.
